🖼 Can I hang things on a Stikwood wall?Updated 9 months ago
Yes! Stikwood takes on the strength of what you stick it too—so if you can hang it on a normal wall, you can hang it on a Stikwood wall. A Stikwood wall is a normal wall. If you’d like to hang pictures, shelves, etc... You can use a nail, a picture hanger or screw like you would normally. Just make sure you are attaching through the Stikwood to the underlying wall.
If you are hanging a heavy item like a shelf or TV, make sure you attach them through the stikwood and drywall and into wall studs/framing.
Stikwood is as strong as what you stick it to, so if the drywall can hold it, Stikwood can hold it. On our inspiration page you will see a lot of things being hung on Stikwood.
Like a normal wall, if you attach to a Stikwood wall using a nail, and later remove the nail, there will be a small hole that will need repair. A little stain or putty makes quick work of the hole. The more care you take when removing items from the wall, the less repair you'll have to make.
