🚐 Can I install Stikwood on camper, RV and trailer walls?Updated 9 months ago

Yes! Stikwood is designed to be thin and lightweight. For this reason there are a lot of travel-trailer, camper and RV owners that have used it to update their rigs.

The walls of trailers and RVs are typically a smooth plastic laminate that Stikwood works great on. Just make sure they are clean of any grease, dust and dirt before applying. Stikwood can also bend around slight curves that are common in trailers. In general the format of our product works fantastic in trailers.

Remember to let the wood acclimate and install in the space during an average time of year (not during extreme temps or when the humidity is extreme). Becuase trailers travel and the climate will not be controlled all the time, your wood will shrink and grow more than normal so install in a 'relaxed' fashion—dont make the boards so tight together or where the ends meet other walls that you have to hammer them in etc. If you have some playing cards, you can use a card to make sure there is an ever so slight gap. This will allow for more wiggle room when the climate changes.
