Cinderblocks are basically concrete and can vary wildly in their moisture content. For this reason, we recommend screwing primed plywood onto the wall and installing Stikwood to the plywood. If you want to install Stikwood directly to the painted cinderblock wall, you will have to be sure that the moisture content stays consistent and is within the range required for a Stikwood installation.
