⚒️ Can I remove Stikwood?Updated 9 months ago

Stikwood forms a strong bond with your wall, and is considered a permanent design solution. Removing the planks may cause damage to the wall, such as peeling paint and damage to the drywall. You can limit the damage to paint and drywall by taking care when removing Stikwood, but you should expect, at minimum to have to repaint the wall.

If you know you will eventually want to remove Stikwood and limit damage to your wall, we recommend fastening primed plywood on the wall and applying stikwood to the plywood. This allows you to remove the plywood later and only have to patch a few small holes.

Removing Stikwood that has been applied directly to a painted drywall wall will cause some damage to the paint and top layer of drywall, depending on how much time and care you take when removing.
