Our splash safe coating goes on the surface of the wood and gives our naturally weathered wood products water resistance. You'd want this coating if using our products behind a sink or stove for instance—anywhere where the wood might receive small splashes of moisture. You can add splash safe in the cart as an option. Don't see the option? If the product has a European Oil finish, the product is already water resistant.
