Thank you for ordering samples, this does occasionally happen and we can send replacements if you would like. 

Stikwood was designed thin for a reason. Because it is thin, it allows the wood to bend and hug your wall, so it stays stuck. It allows for easy and lightweight installation. The strength of stikwood does not come from the wood. It comes from the surface you are applying it to. If a piece of Stikwood is bendable, once you stick it on your wall it will be super-strong.
